CBP Resources, LLC was established in October 2020 to serve as a bridge and resource for organizations who find themselves operating with very limited resources. CBP will serve as an extension of the organization’s financial and administrative team by providing experience and supportive services to the organization’s limited pool of resources.

CBP Resources, LLC was established in October 2020 to serve as a bridge and resource for organizations who find themselves operating with very limited resources. The owner has over 35 years of financial and administrative experience. Over the past two years the owner has worked for a private school and has been afforded the opportunity to work closely with the Indiana Department of Education relative to the Choice Scholarship Program. The Covid-19 Pandemic has impacted the way that many businesses operate. This includes the private school sector and new and existing businesses.

About the Owner
President & Owner
Claudette B. Pickens
Claudette Pickens has a career experience that encompasses in excess of 35 years of accounting and administrative services in various industries including education, healthcare, not-for-profit, and broadcasting. She received her MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University, and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Indiana and Connecticut (inactive in CT). She is also a Certified Fraud Examiner.
Ms. Pickens is currently serving as Chief Financial Officer for a private school in Indianapolis, Indiana. She also manages the school’s financial aid operations that requires continuous communication with parents and on-going collaboration and compliance with the Indiana Department of Education regulations.
Other experience includes the following:
• Chief Financial Officer for a local medical transportation provider where she was instrumental in reviewing, documenting and implementing operational procedures for the accounting, billing, and claims processing departments. She also collaborated with the Technology Department in development of reporting tools to facilitate greater operational efficiencies.
• Senior management role at BKD CPAs, HP Enterprises, and Myers and Stauffer CPAs specializing in Medicare and Medicaid healthcare reimbursement in Indiana, Wisconsin, and Connecticut. During her tenure with Myers and Stauffer she coordinated a collaborative investigative project with the U.S. Department of Justice.
• Private sector accounting that included all aspects of managing general accounting operations including general ledger maintenance and account analysis, month-end close, financial statement preparation, variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting. She also supervised Accounts Payable, Account Receivable, Payroll, and other administrative functions including coordinating internal and external audits.
Over the years she has shared her expertise with friends, family, and others. In October 2020 CBP Resources LLC became a reality.
